Teachers, counselors, parents and professionals –
Is part of your job to be a catalyst for change?
Do you have a goal to help people improve their business, social or family relationships? Or to improve your own?
Would you like to have more confidence, skills and know-how before you present yourself in front of a group?
Learn the 5 principles for teaching others how to enhance their relationships at home and at work
In 1909 Dr. Alfred Adler identified the foundation of how to deal with relationship problems. His “firm and kind” approach has proven to be the key to reducing stress and conflict in relationships of all kinds - classroom, family, workplace. By learning and using his principles, people can begin to effectively resolve their own conflicts.
Our unique facilitator training program gives you the support, the tools and the experience you need to teach these principles to others.
Enhance your value as a presenter
Our Facilitator Training program is a rock-solid foundation for anyone dealing with people problems: counselors, teachers, parents, health professionals, organizational development professionals, human resource professionals, childcare providers and others. Parent education is the context in which you will learn these skills, but they can be applied successfully wherever people live and work together.
The skills we teach will give you an edge over more traditionally trained presenters. You’ll know how to convey your subject matter in a fun, dynamic and interesting way. And because you’ll know how to make the learning personal to each participant, they will come back for more.
Feel secure, confident, and excited about presenting your message as effectively as possible
In our 6-month training, you will:
- Learn tools for use in the staff room, classroom and living room
- Acquire knowledge and techniques for working effectively with those seeking to improve their people skills
- Learn the basics of firm-and-kind parenting and teaching
- Get your audience involved in their own learning
- Practice teaching using fun, hands-on activities and demonstrations
- Culminate by leading your own four-week class
Our program offers the keys to solving relationship problems
The Facilitator Training program begins each August and January. You can expect to spend about 5 hours a week in training sessions and parent education classes. Our curriculum provides the support and encouragement you need while learning to set up your own workshops and classes, and become more skilled in helping others create happier, healthier relationships.
